Remember the customer is not always right so its important to have a clear line of communication during the bidding process.

Be clear in the details of what needs to be done ask first what is what they expect of you. The reason why they are contracting your service. In this Blog we will be talking about a clean kitchen.

While listening to the client hear details of the specifics on what they ant done. If it makes sensible cleaning protocols then agree with the particulars.

When starting your clean make sure you have the basics in supply. Glass cleaner, oven cleaner and what ever cleaning agent you choice.

Green products are great but not always the best to remove grease and heavy built up. In these cases you should consider a more heavier cleaner such as standard pine sol or a Betco product.

It really doesn't matter just that it does the job and is safe to use with others in the environment.

Remember that its important to ask the client right up front what their choice or preference would be. Some people have allergies to certain products or lingering odors. This could be a deal breaker right out the bat.

We try to use as much nutrual low odors as possible; BUT then again there are some clients that love that heavy lemon or citrus odor in the their place of business or home.

Here is a list of what you will need to be successful in your cleaning venture;
1. Gloves
2. Cleaning chemical; glass cleaner, mopping solutions, oven cleaner, wood polish, and bowl cleaner
3. Trash liners
4. Trash bin
5. Cleaning sponge; the ones with a green pad on one side and yellow sponge on the other. 3m
6. Micro fiber cloths different colors to avoid cross contamination from kitchen to bathrooms
7. Razor blades
8. Dusters: preference the ones that are made by swifter's they trap dirt very well
9 Mop bucket & mop
10 Floor duster
11. Broom
12 Vacuum
13 Extension pole
14. Squeeze and window applicator
15 Cart to hold everything; this is a time saver
16. Bowl brush

Every cleaning company has its own way of doing things but at the end of the day cleaning should be done in stages.

High cleaning:
You should start from the top of the the area you are cleaning and work your way down. This way what ever fall down in the way of filth, falls on an area you have not already cleaned. This will save labor and time in the long run. The way you make money in the cleaning industry or in any field is not having to do the job twice. This high cleaning will include the following:

a. Light fixtures
b. Ceiling fans
c. Air vents
d. Cob web removal
e. Top of shelves
f. Chandeliers
g. High glass
h. Tall walls

Middle cleaning
Once all you high cleaning is done now you can start to work on all the middle areas which is the most common cleaning you will do. This normally includes everything you can clean with in hand reach of you:

a. Picture frames
b. Furniture
c. Glass
d. counter tops
e. Showers, sinks, faucets, appliances, tubs, and etc. "common general cleaning"

Low cleaning:
At this point you are ready to start the last stage the floors:

a. Vacuuming
b. Floor dusting
c. Corners
d. Insect removal
e. Window ledges
f. Mopping

This is the best way to clean it right and have a happy client or a clean facility for you do it your selfer's.
